Branch Reporting LLC (“Branch Reporting,” “we”) provides an ownership-reporting platform for wealth advisors and family offices. This page describes what we collect and how we use it.
If you are a client of one of our customers, this policy does not cover your relationship with that firm — contact them directly.
Account information — name, email, role, and a hashed password for each authorized user. We also store a TOTP secret used to verify two-factor login codes.
Customer Data — the ownership structures, asset valuations, and names of entities and natural persons that our customers enter into the application. Customer Data belongs to the customer; we process it on their behalf.
Usage logs — standard server logs (request paths, timestamps, IP addresses) plus an in-app audit log of significant actions so customers can review activity on their own account.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Customer Data to train machine learning models.
Within the customer’s firm — authorized users see the Customer Data their role allows, as configured by the firm’s administrators.
Subprocessors — vendors that host or transmit information on our behalf (primarily our cloud hosting and database provider). A current list is available to customers on request.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
Each customer firm runs on a dedicated application instance and a dedicated database; transport is encrypted with TLS; passwords are hashed; every mutation is recorded in an audit log. See the Security overview for more detail.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the marketing site is used — pages visited, general location, and device type. It sets cookies and collects standard usage data. Google Analytics does not receive any Customer Data. The Branch Reporting application itself uses only the strictly necessary cookies needed to keep you signed in.
To review, correct, or delete information about you, contact the firm whose instance you use, or email us at info@branchreporting.com and we will route the request.
